Press Release: Girard Expands Team in Berks County
Girard, the wealth management division of Univest Financial Corporation, with $4.1 billion in assets under management and supervision as of December 31, 2020, recently expanded its team in Berks County with the addition of two wealth trust advisors. Lisa Ashcroft and Kim Ressler bring more than 50 years of combined experience in the financial services industry to their roles and will serve client’s trust and investment management needs. They will work out of Univest’s recently opened regional office in West Lawn, Berks County.

Lisa Ashcroft joins as vice president and wealth trust advisor. She brings more than 23 years of experience in the financial services industry to her role at Girard. Ashcroft has a specialized focus on helping clients with special needs trusts. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Alvernia University. She also holds her Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation. Lisa is active in her local community and currently serves as a board member and treasurer of Antietam Valley Community Partnership and volunteers with her son’s scouting troop.
Kim Ressler also joins as vice president and wealth trust advisor. She brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry to her role at Girard. Previously, Ressler served as vice president for Orrstown Financial Advisors in Reading, Pa. Ressler holds her Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designations. Additionally, she holds her Center for Guardianship Certification (CGC). Kim is active in her local community and currently serves as a board member and treasurer for Circle of Life Coalition, as a board member and on the finance committee for Berks History Center, as a board member and on the guardianship committee for ARC, and as a board member for Berks Estate Planning Council. Ressler is a lifelong resident of Berks County, Pa.
