Lisa is senior vice president and managing director of operations and client services, where she oversees operations and technology that enhance the quality of our client relationships. She also helps ensure the firm’s regulatory adherence with organizations such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Before joining Girard, Lisa cultivated 20 years of broad-based experience in the financial service industry, providing leadership for investment advisors, fund managers, and brokerage firms. She previously served as chief operating officer at Abacus Wealth Partners for four years, and as senior vice president for Camelot Investment Advisers, Ltd. for five years. Lisa received a Master of Science in finance from Drexel University, and a Bachelor of Science in finance from Pennsylvania State University.
Ronald H. Bittner, CPA®
Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Pension Services
Ron brings more than 22 years of experience to his role as managing director of pension services. He uses his industry expertise to oversee all aspects of the actuarial, accounting, administrative, consulting, compliance and benefit determination services for more than 100 pension plans across Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Girard, Ron worked for the Department of the Auditor General supervising municipal pension audits. He earned a bachelor’s degree in professional accountancy from Penn State University and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. Ron is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of CPAs. Outside of work, you can find Ron on the golf course, bowling or on the volleyball court. Ron also serves as the Finance Committee Chairman for his high school’s alumni association.
Client Service Associate
As a client service associate, Jennifer represents the Univest Foundation
in bringing charities and donors together through the promotion of planned giving. With over 20 years experience in non-profit management, Jennifer uses her expertise, leadership and creative thinking skills to improve Girard’s planned giving efforts. Prior to joining Girard, Jennifer served as a non-profit leader in multiple capacities, including development and budget management. She earned her bachelor's degree in English/creative writing from Ursinus College, as well as her Juris Doctorate degree from Widener University School of Law. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys hiking in the great outdoors, volunteering with the Boy Scouts in addition to the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. She currently lives in Telford with her spouse and has two children.
Lori brings 17 years of experience to her role as administrative assistant, collaborating with team members and ensuring the efficient management of client accounts. Her detailed communication and organizational skills allow her to support the team in various capacities. Prior to joining Girard, Lori performed clerical services within the TD Ameritrade, Matrix/Broadridge, and Nationwide platforms. She received her associate's degree in small animal science at Newbury College in Holliston, MA. Outside of the office, Lori enjoys traveling, horseback riding and experimenting with interior design. She currently resides in Bethlehem, PA with her son and dog, Addie-Rose.
Pension Plan Support Specialist
With over 39 years in the financial services industry providing excellent customer service to her clients, Jane serves as the main point of contact for three pension service providers. She is responsible for processing and submitting new retiree setups, refund/rollover payments, and providing other pension plan support. Prior to joining Girard, Jane worked for the County of Lehigh as a retirement accountant. She earned her associate’s degree in specialized business from Churchman Business School, as well as her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Muhlenberg College. When she’s not at work, Jane enjoys reading, boating, and spending time with family and friends. A mother of two, she currently resides in South Whitehall Township with her spouse.
Director of Operations - Pension Services
Kelle-Ann serves as a direct contact for Girard Pension Services’ clients’ administrative needs and manages the department’s administrative team. Her 10 years of experience allow her to efficiently manage the department’s workload in order to deliver accurate reports while meeting deadlines. Prior to working for Girard, Kelle-Ann worked in the accounting industry for 10 years - most recently, as an auditor for a public accounting firm that specialized in school district and local government audits. Kelle-Ann earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Muhlenberg College. When she’s not busy overseeing departmental audits, Kelle-Ann loves cooking and entertaining guests. She currently resides in Quakertown with her long-term boyfriend and dog.
Fred Older, CPA®
Municipal Pension Consultant
As a municipal pension consultant, Fred uses his attention to detail and analytical thinking to assist in the preparation of the biennial Act 205 actuarial valuation reports. With 27 years experience providing excellent customer service, Fred advises Girard’s clients and members of their pension plans, both active and retired, and manages any questions and compliance issues. Prior to joining Girard, Fred spent 22 years employed by the Department of the Auditor General as an auditor, audit specialist, audit supervisor & regional supervisor. He also earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Fred graduated from Spring Garden College with a bachelor's degree in accounting. Outside of the office, Fred enjoys spending time with his family, including his four grandsons, as well as performing the duties of an Eagle Scout. He currently resides in Hatfield Township in the same house for more than 39 years.

Business Development and Support Specialist
Stacey’s role as business development and support specialist allows her to use her project management and communication skills to support the team with projects and system reports to monitor opportunities, activities and the B2B referral program. Before joining Girard, Stacey worked for a diagnostic company in the sales and marketing department. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cedar Crest College. Outside of the office, Stacey enjoys spending time with her two children in Bethlehem.
Director of Operations and Compliance - Advisory Services
Renee brings more than 20 years of experience to her role overseeing client operational support. She is dedicated to creating efficient procedures and solutions aimed at providing clients with impeccable service, as well as maintaining accurate reporting data. Renee earned a bachelor’s degree from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Previously, she served as vice president of account investments and controls at State Street Bank and vice president of BNY Mellon Operations supporting the investment processing for high-net-worth clients. When she isn’t at work, Renee spends time with her husband and twin teenagers. She is also dedicated to volunteering in her community and most recently served as Fund Raising Coordinator for Academy of Notre Dame.
Client Services Associate
Emily puts her strong communication and organizational skills to work supporting the wealth advisors in our King of Prussia office. She assists with client onboarding and communications as well as account servicing. Emily is a graduate of James Madison University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish, which she put to use teaching English in Honduras for a year and teaching Spanish for five years in Philadelphia. Outside of work, Emily enjoys yoga, cooking and playing the violin.
With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Pam brings a strong client focus and diverse technological background to Girard. As operations manager, she builds solid client relationships by responding to daily inquiries, performing research on investment and tax issues, and coordinating account openings and settlements. Pam previously spent 12 years at SEI Investments as a service representative and mutual fund specialist. Prior to that, she was operations manager at The Fairfield Group (presently Smith Barney) for eight years. Pam holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kutztown University. Regardless of the season you can find Pam at the beach with her dog Bella Blue. She is an avid Notre Dame fan, and enjoys watching college football with friends and family.

Maria puts her strong communication and organizational skills to work supporting the wealth advisors in our Doylestown office. She assists with the initial client onboarding process along with daily communications and account servicing. Maria has more than 10 years of experience in customer service including four years in the financial services industry. Maria is a graduate of Widener University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a certificate in management. Jeff’s dedication to providing impeccable customer service is what drives his success as senior client service associate. His quick thinking and attention to detail allow him to anticipate issues before they occur - providing clients with seamless service. Prior to Girard, Jeff worked as a personal banker at the Univest Bank financial center located in Collegeville. He earned a bachelor’s degree from West Chester University. Jeff is passionate about music, and enjoys attending concerts and playing the piano.
Retirement Plan Administrator
An organized team player, Susan brings 32 years of experience in the financial services industry to her position as a retirement plan administrator. Susan plays a key role in supporting retirement relationship managers, in addition to serving as a liaison between plan sponsors and their employees. When she’s not busy providing administrative and operational support to the retirement team, you can find Susan scrapbooking, crocheting and attending church. Susan currently lives in Quakertown with her spouse, Bill, and her two children.

Nakeyia has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. As a client service associate, she aids with the sales, servicing and portfolio management efforts of Girard. Nakeyia prides herself on helping others and providing excellent customer experience. Prior to joining Girard, she was an associate manager at Prudential Financial, where she managed compliance regulatory alerts for large market insurance policies and completed financial validations of customers’ payments.When she’s not helping clients, Nakeyia enjoys volunteering in her local community and making homemade cards. She is an avid football fan and enjoys watching the Philadelphia Eagles. Nakeyia resides in Souderton, PA.

Operations and Compensation Support Specialist
Shannon brings 15 years experience in the financial services industry to her role as operations and compensation support specialist. Detail-oriented and an excellent multi-tasker, Shannon assists with the compensation process as well as maintaining proper compliance and communication with HR. A true team player, she also provides administrative and customer service support. Prior to joining the team at Girard, Shannon worked for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage as a processor, underwriter, trainer and loan officer. She earned her bachelor's degree in finance from West Virginia University. When she’s not at work, Shannon stays very active with Zumba and yoga. She also enjoys spending time with her two kids and hosting exchange students in her home in Perkasie, PA.
As operations specialist, Tom manages the input and maintenance of customer records and assists customers with servicing their accounts. He also helps the advisors with their day-to-day operations and handles the timely distribution of compliance documents to meet regulatory requirements. Tom graduated from Lycoming College with a bachelor’s degree and holds his FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. Outside of work, Tom enjoys exercising and is an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

A veteran to the financial services industry, Annette has more than 31 years of experience. As the director of operations and compliance for investment services, Annette oversees investment operations and systems while ensuring all rules and regulations are met. Annette’s collaborative skills, accuracy and attentiveness serve her well in this detail-oriented position. She received her bachelor’s degree in administrative management and a minor in finance from DeSales University and holds FINRA Series licenses 6, 7, 24, 51 and 63, as well as the Pennsylvania Life and Health Insurance license. Outside of work, Annette enjoys photography, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

As a senior client relations specialist with more than 15 years of experience, Ryan serves as a liaison between the advisors and clients, assisting in areas from trading, withdrawal requests, account transfers and rollovers. Ryan’s ability to effectively listen to his clients’ needs and complete their requests on time make him a valuable asset to the firm. He received his bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University and holds FINRA Series licenses 6, 7, and 63 as well as the Pennsylvania Life, Accident and Health Insurance license. When he isn’t busy serving his clients, you can find Ryan spending time with his wife and three children, or coaching one of his kid’s sports teams.

He obtained his associate’s degree in business administration from Bucks County Community College.
